Great article on the feeding schedule that best suits you. For the last three weeks I’ve been following the this eating schedule:

Breakfast- three eggs, and avocado, and either bacon or sausage.

Snack time (around 11-ish) Fruit of some sort – perhaps a type of berries with a dose of heavy whipping cream

Lunch- usually a big ass salad with lots of veggies, avocado, and then I had taco meat and a tad of Caeser salad dressing.

If I snack here it is usually a fruit item like a banana or apple, along with nuts (no not peanuts which are not nuts). I usually take a handful of macadamia’s, almonds, or pumpkin seeds.

Dinner- A type of meat, fish, fowl, or pork along with a veggie or two, which are usually summer squash and or carrots, maybe broccoli.

I am not counting calories. The only rules include no sugars, artificial sweeteners, breads, pastas, grains, rices, beans, cereals or anything processed. What you can eat is a little dairy, lots of meat with fat, fish, pork, fowl, all of the veggies you can tolerate and some fruit. Nuts and seeds are beneficial as well.

In almost three weeks I’ve lost about five pounds, but I would guesstimate that I’ve lowered my body fat by at least two or three percentage points. I’d like to get that body fat down to somewhere between eight and ten percent. This is not a diet. I am not simply doing this temporarily- unless the moon falls from the sky this is the way I will try to feast 99% of the time for the rest of my life. I want to live long and be healthy, and after reading “The Primal Blueprint”, I believe this is the key lifestyle plan to do so.

Three weeks ago I was a carb and sugar junkie. I can honestly say today that it was not hard just to pick up this eating regime and run with it. It’s been smooth sailing. I am not the only one within our ranks pursuing the “primal blueprint” calling. I happy to share this ride with Shawn M., who started it a month ago, and attuned me to it, Josh P., and Mark B.. Mark has been doing it for a year and is super happy with how much better he feels and how much better he looks!
